The Municipal Towing Service plays a crucial role in controlling road indiscipline in the city of Barcelona, as well as contributing to road safety and improving the flow of traffic.
It is therefore a crucial element of the city’s mobility policy, materialising in the form of the following services:
01 Specific services, in response to requests made by residents or by municipal authorities. 02 Direct action, carried out on illegally parked vehicles or those blocking traffic. 03 Prevention, with the presence of tow trucks patrolling the city discouraging violations of the highway code. 04 Improvement of the urban landscape, through the removal of vehicles left abandoned in squares and streets, which also frees up the parking spaces occupied by them. 05 Other services, such as those related to transporting vehicles between vehicle compounds, moving vehicles for construction works, celebrations, stolen vehicles... 06 Services as requested by individuals or companies, for moving vehicles short-distances as a result of works, events...
