To recover a vehicle towed for illegal parking, you must go to the municipal deposit indicated on the sticker or other means of notification with the following documentation:
- Where the person collecting the vehicle is the vehicle owner: • Original ID card or driver’s licence.
• Original passport or residence permit.
- Where the person collecting the vehicle is NOT the vehicle owner: • Original authorisation signed by the vehicle owner  • Photocopy of the ID card, driver’s licence, passport or residence permit of the vehicle owner.
• ID card, driver’s licence, passport or residence permit of the authorised person.
Anyone whose name and surname(s) appear on the insurance policy as a primary driver will also be considered authorised to collect the vehicle.
- If the owner of the vehicle is a legal entity: • Deed or copy of the deed where the legal representative collecting the vehicle appears.
• Where the legal representative cannot collect the vehicle, he/she may provide written authorisation for someone to do so on his/her behalf (the authorisation document must be stamped by the company). • Photocopy of the ID card, driver’s licence, passport or resident's permit of the authorising person. • ID card, driver’s licence, passport or residence permit of the authorised person.
- Where the vehicle is the property of a LEASING, RENTING or HIRING company: • Original or certified copy of the leasing contract. • ID card, driver’s licence, passport or residence permit of the person collecting the vehicle.
• Where collecting on somebody’s behalf: original authorisation signed by the person named in the contract.
• Photocopy of the ID card or the contract holder. • Or original authorisation ) signed and stamped by the contracting company, expressly authorising the person collecting the vehicle.
-Bicycles: For bicycles, it is necessary to go to the Litoral vehicle compound with the following documentation: • ID card of the bicycle owner • Receipt or other proof of purchase of the vehicle.
