Recharge stations for electric cars
 Park your electric car with B:SM and, where the facilities are available, recharge the battery at the same time.
Although, today, electric cars are still somewhat of a minority, energy efficiency and sustainability are two key criteria within Barcelona’s mobility policy and, bit by bit, will become a part of the consumer's decision-making process when purchasing their vehicles.
The installation of recharge stations for electric cars involves the supply if 220 standard volts through a safety plug.
Through actions such as these, the Barcelona City Council hopes to increase the number of electric cars in the city, a practice which will help improve mobility, reduce CO2 emissions and reduce noise pollution and which, above all, is respectful of the environment.
The cost of using this service, which is applied in addition to the rate for parking at the car park, is of 1' 20€ for cars and 0.30€ for motorbike, independently of the time that the vehicle is connected. Until the 31 of December of 2013 this service will be gratuitous.

Breathometers
 Some B:SM car parks are equipped with alcohol breath testers to alert drivers as to the level of risk they would be running if stopped for a breath test. For € 1, this simple device calculates drivers’ alcohol level and, when they exceed the limit of 0.25g of alcohol per litre of expelled air, it recommends that they do not drive.
Machines are installed at the Gal·la Placídia, Sol, Joanic, Moll de la Fusta, Barceloneta, Hospital del Mar, Marina Port Olímpic and Francesc Cambó car parks.
